'Too Much Fennel' was made as part of my uni course, inspired by my favourite artist William Kentridge. Not that it is anything like his animations! But he draws them with charcoal. Here ends the resemblance.

Thanks melanie. I taped the paper to my studio wall, set up the tripod and camera with remote shutter. I drew the first image which is the plate full of food and too a shot. I took the rest of the 230+ shots as I changed small parts of the drawing by rubbing out and overdrawing. The hardest part was getting it to run so fast in iMovie. I had to manually change the duration on each image.
wow, that sounds like a *lot* of work!
That was really awesome...and about how fast my plate empties too...
This is great fun! I love William Kent's work, btw. And I love how you're always into something new and interesting! Happy new year!

That was fantastic. Will you be able to get teachers to do these exciting things with their students as well?
how cool, very clever! It's amazing how simple something that has required so much work can look... unreal! Was the topic up to you to choose? If so, I love your sense of the quirky :)
