Journal Craft

I want to show you a new website I love. Journal Craft is the brainchild of Gill McCowen. Ever wanted an all-in-one resource for your budding (or bulging) journalling questions and ideas? Well, this is the site you've been waiting for. There are lots of fantastic journal-ers and journals to be seen on Journal Craft and I'm very proud to say I've managed to slip in among them.
I'm not so good at screen shots, but that is my 'When I was a little girl page' at the bottom of the page.
And that is a page from my 'Guide France' travel journal.

But, really you can see all that here. So visit Journal Craft to see other great pages and ideas, and there is even a shop where you can buy supplies. Enjoy!

Notebookism

Remember the new journal I started? The one from Firenze (Florence, Italy)? Well, if you missed it, or you've forgotten you can check it out on Notebookism. Wow. Yes, really. My new journal is on Notebookism!

(You could just scroll down to see it, you know, but that would take all the fun out of seeing it on Notebookism.)

Thanks Armand!

Do you know 'Notebookism?'

If you don't know of the great site Notebookism, you should definitely check it out, and not just because it is such an interesting site where stationery lust is paramount, but because they have been nice enough to feature my 'Tidarithms' artist's book. This is the fourth time Armand has been nice enough to post about one of my books. If you missed seeing my book before click here or here to see the Notebookism article about my book. If you would like to see more images of my book (on Flickr) click here. And if you missed the other rebound books click here and scroll down, and artist's books click here and scroll down..

I hate it when I sound like I'm bragging while I'm bragging...

...but my (untitled) artist's book is on Notebookism (!!!) Thanks Armand!

Notebookism Notebookism NOTEBOOKISM!

They say "three times lucky". Well, an image from this blog is featured on Notebookism today - my third time! Check it out, and most importantly, check out Notebookism. It is a fabulous website where stationery lovers and the visually minded are constantly tantilised with images and ideas, paper and pens, and history and history-in-the-making. So in the Aussie vernacular - "Do yourself a favour!"

Paris Map featured on Moleskinerie

I'm chuffed to say that my Paris map
has been featured on the wonderfully interesting http://www.moleskinerie.com/ I love this website and have seen some fantastic moleskines on there in the past, so I feel to be included is a great honour. Here's a quick link to the post on this blog that the photo on Moleskinerie comes from http://janallsopp.blogspot.com/2006/09/pages-from-guide-france.html or just scroll down a couple of posts and you'll see it.

And while I'm on the subject, I never posted a link to an article about this same sketchbook on http://www.notebookism.com/2006/08/index.html back on 17 August. Notebookism is a 'sister' (or brother!) site to Moleskinerie, only all notebooks are admired there. Unfortunately at this late stage you have to scroll down quite a way to see my 'Guide France' book in the making. You can also view the same article here on this blog at http://janallsopp.blogspot.com/2006/08/in-search-of-perfect-journal.html

So thanks to all those who showed an interest in my sketchbook making project. I have loved having interested people to share it with!
