My first reaction was, "Look! It's Mallory!"

You look like a cranky girl given the frown on your face.

Oh btw what's with the square/rectangle things coming from your back, hips and shoes? Did you forget to take the price tags off? :-P

Kiel Kiel Kiel. They are the tabs on the dress-up (or cut-out) dolls clothes. You know those paper dolls that you put paper dresses on? I was surprised at my face when I drew it. I didn't think it was 'cranky', more like 'intense' and 'serious'. And yes, Mallory and I were very alike as children. Guess genetics does that.

Wait a minute! I see the part of the picture where it says "I loved cut out dolls!". *Kiel is gifted with understanding* This is sad given that I seemed to have read everything else except that. Sigh.

Didn't have much to do with paper dolls, funnily enough. Have a bit of an idea what you're talking about now. Dad was given a cardboard cutout and fold up book of the USS Enterprise and it was cool :-) And depending on who you talk to, that is sad ;-)

This is hilarious -- wonderful -- so much fun to read! (especially the bit about carrots ... probably...) What a GREAT journal page!

She does not look like me, Kiel!

sooo cute though. I still love cut out dolls. And I hated soup, and beetroot (even when I pretended not to because it annoyed you), but I've always liked corn, and known the difference between orange and green.
The difference between Meryll Streep and Gwen Close however... (At least I'm not as bad as Caitlin)
