Just home from life drawing...

Went to life drawing tonight. Haven't been in ages. It was so much fun. Lots of experimenting. Had a really interesting 'conversation' with a tin of bitumen... now I have lots of ideas... Tomorrow I'm going to try printing with it!

Lovely picture. Hey, what do you do with bitumen and isn't it usually black? I saw a couple of paintings recently and bitumen was part of the process.

This is beautiful, and dynamic! what size is the original? I'd hang it on my wall!

I love this. really nice lines and perspective. And I googled bitumen - "In Australian English, bitumen is sometimes used as the generic term for road surfaces". Huh?

Wonderfully dynamic - the orange really makes it. Yes, we all want to know about the bitumen. (Thank you for your comments on my blog - always so encouraging)
