Hairdressing Humiliation
You go to the hairdressers to make sure you look gorgeous, and what do they do?
They make you look so bad while you are there that it is humiliating! Then, just to make sure my depression level peaked, I drew this with my book on my lap and without lifting my chin when I looked up, and insuring I looked like Jaba the Hut! Oouch!
(Thank you Gael for giving me the courage to post this entry! xxx)

Isn't THAT the truth! Terrific drawing and your journal entry summed up how I feel every time I visit the hairdresser. Thanks for sharing this post!
That is so true. What a great opportunity to sketch. I have to remember to pack mine in the car EVERY time I leave the house.
I never got the people who did their hair to get a haircut. I always roll out of bed and go first thing in the morning so I get a whole day's worth of that "new cut feeling" - cause it never looks the same when I do it!
i know the feeling but looking gorgeous is hard work isnt it LOL
great sketch!!
I was at the hairdressers the other day and thought 'what a good opportunity to do a blind self portrait under the cape' - you have done very well. I like all your quick sketches. I would be tempted to try adding a little bit of colour - not all over, just to strengthen the main 'idea' and enliven them a little.
Fabulous drawing! Are you sure you need advice?!! I was thinking the same thing about a week ago and I looked way worse than this! I didn't have the nerve so bravo to you!!
This cracks me up! What a great drawing! :-D
This sketch is WONDERFUL!! Too funny, but so true!
hahhahahahahaha!!! This is wonderful!! And don't we all relate...
